Latvia's foreign policy priority is the membership of the EU and NATO. Joining the EU is not an end in itself but a means to national economic growth.

LPP expresses support for the operation and the State President Vaira Vike-Freiberga's re-election.

GAP emphasizes that power should be the hands of the people, therefore, should be the oligarchy and economic grouping of political power reduction. GAP believes that there must be duplication of functions between ministries and other public administration bodies.
